One of the things, as a younger man, that you probably never thought about was your blood pressure. Why would you? It was likely so perfect that you did not have to worry about it.

But, as a man over 40, high blood pressure, according to the Mayo Clinic, can lead to:

  1. Damage or failure of your heart
    • Narrow arteries
    • Aneurysm
    • Coronary artery disease
    • Enlarged left heart
  2. Damage to your brain
    • Transient ischemic attack (ministroke)
    • Stroke
    • Dementia
    • Mild cognitive impairment
  3. Damage or failure to your kidneys
  4. Damage to your eyes
  5. Sexual Dysfunction

We are not medical professionals. And we always recommend that you speak to a medical professional about your health related items.

With that being said, most of the time you are given a prescription and told to abstain from bacon and red meat. Many guys fail at this because the medicine makes them feel bad and…let’s face it…most guys love bacon and steak.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could lower your blood pressure naturally?

The good news is that you can.

There are many known things that are actually common (and that we both do and promote) such as get good sleep, make sure that you exercise, lower your stress, eat things your body likes (yes that can include bacon and steak) and avoid things it doesn’t like such as sugar.

But there is a lesser known thing that can have a significant impact on lowering your blood pressure that is completely natural.

What is it?

L-Citrulline is what it is called. And, it can be found naturally occurring in watermelon. You would have to eat a lot of it on a regular basis (daily) to get the effects. That is why we order it in a pure, non-gmo powdered form and take 1/2 teaspoon every morning (see the image with the green lid containers).

It takes about a month to work through and build up in your system. But, once it does, it is easier to maintain.

At the time of this writing (July 29, 2021) , I am 47 years old. I take L-Citrulline 4 times a week in the morning and it works great for me. Check out the real world results.

The “Normal” blood pressure for someone over 40 is 135 to 145 / 85 to 95 with a pulse between 60 to 90 (see image with the measurements on it).

My blood pressure, taken at the chiropractor a few weeks ago, was 125 / 71 with a pulse of 68 (see the image of the blood pressure machine).

That puts my blood pressure in the range of what someone under 40 should have!

According to WebMD, the only side effects of L-Citrulline (in some rare cases) are upset stomach, heartburn, cough, changes in urination, and swelling and the powder is kind of bitter or sour. But it is completely worth it compared to all of the negative side effects of high blood pressure (a lot of which are damage, failure or death).

Again, check with your health professional before changing any treatments that you may be on. But L-Citrulline has helped me and many others to lower their blood pressure in a natural, non-pharmaceutical way.
